The CRCM comprises nearly 450 people, organized into 21 research teams and 18 technology platforms, and is affiliated with Inserm, CNRS, Aix-Marseille University, and the Paoli-Calmettes Institute (IPC). Its research spans from fundamental to clinical studies, aiming to deepen the understanding of cancer mechanisms and develop innovative therapeutic strategies.
Bioinformatics plays a key role at the CRCM, with experts embedded in research teams and a dedicated platform, Cibi (CRCM's Integrative Bioinformatics platform).
The Cibi platform supports researchers with data analysis (NGS, cytometry, proteomics), the development of bioinformatics pipelines, and database management. It also contributes to collaborative projects and provides hands-on training opportunities for interns.
