The inaugural day of the BIOTIC network (24th April) was a real success, bringing together 99 participants from around twenty different laboratories. Although most of the participants work on the Luminy campus, some of you came from La Timone, Station Marine d'Endoume, Joseph Aiguier...

Professional diversity was evident, both in terms of corps/grades and in terms of disciplines and fields of application. From bioinformatics students to experienced bioinformaticians, engineers and researchers/teachers, all were present, demonstrating the attractiveness of the network and its richness.
