We are pleased to invite you to the next BIOTIC virtual lunch on Tuesday, 10 September 2024 at 12:30.
We'll continue our exploration of reproducibility. Following Fabien Borget's presentation, we are pleased to welcome Julien Caugant, who will give us an overview (in French) of the Software Heritage archive.
- Topic: Archiving code and software: how and why?
- Speaker : Julien Caugant (librarian assistant). Julien is an Open Access officer, Python developer/trainer and Software Heritage ambassador.
- Summary: Research today involves issues of citation, transparency and reproducibility, as set out in the FAIR principles. It's within this framework that code and software must fit. But how do you provide these guarantees for your code or software? How do you make it accessible, fair and reusable? We'll be looking at this in this presentation from the Software Heritage Archive.
We hope to see many of you at this event, and please feel free to relay the information around you!
